🧠 Concept Overview

Battle on Wheels is my original MOBA-style tank battle game concept, where armored vehicles clash in strategic, fast-paced battles across dynamic arenas.

To bring this idea closer to reality, I created a Unity-powered MVP codenamed Project BOW — a small but functional prototype designed to capture the core mechanics and feel of the full game.

This MVP focuses on essential gameplay interactions — movement, combat, and camera dynamics — serving as the foundation for future iterations of the project.


⚙️ Tools and Technologies

  • Game Engine: Unity

  • 3D Modeling & Design: Blender

  • Assets Used: Unity Tank Tutorial Assets

  • Programming: C# (Unity Scripts)

  • Platform: PC Build (available in GitHub Releases)

Through this project, I combined the creative flexibility of Blender with the interactive power of Unity, learning how to design, import, and integrate custom assets into a fully functional environment.


🎮 Gameplay Mechanics in MVP

This early version of Project BOW includes the following features:

  • Player Tank Control: Move with W, A, S, D or arrow keys.

  • Combat Mechanic: Pick up a gun located on the map to enable attacks.

  • Enemy AI Tanks: Two AI-controlled tanks operate based on scripted logic.

  • Camera System: A camera icon on the HUD toggles between different viewing perspectives.

The goal was to create a simple yet playable experience that demonstrates the core loop of movement, weapon collection, and combat.


🚀 Development Experience

Developing Project BOW has been a valuable creative and technical journey.
I learned how to:

  • Script responsive player controls and AI behaviors in Unity.

  • Integrate Blender models into a Unity environment seamlessly.

  • Prototype game concepts rapidly using an MVP approach.

  • Balance gameplay design and performance within Unity’s ecosystem.

Even though it’s a small-scale prototype, this project reflects my process of experimenting, learning, and iterating to transform rough ideas into playable realities.


🧩 Future Plans

This MVP is only the first milestone.
Future plans for Battle on Wheels include:

  • Smarter, more dynamic AI opponents.

  • Weapon variety and upgrade systems.

  • Multiplayer or co-op support.

  • Enhanced maps and destructible environments.

  • Improved visuals and camera transitions.

The ultimate vision is to evolve Project BOW into a full-fledged tactical action game blending strategy, precision, and creativity.
